The NCC Unit of IIIT Allahabad actively undertook social service initiatives in 2025, reflecting the cadets' commitment to environmental responsibility and community welfare. These activities encouraged social awareness, teamwork, and a spirit of selfless service among the cadets.
A Plantation Drive was successfully conducted on April 15, 2025, within the IIIT Allahabad campus. The activity focused on enhancing the campus's greenery and aesthetic appeal. New saplings were planted in place of dried and damaged plants, contributing to environmental conservation and sustainable development. The initiative not only improved the campus environment but also instilled a sense of ecological responsibility among the cadets.
On 10th April 2025, the NCC Unit organized a Donation Drive aimed at collecting books and clothes for underprivileged and needy individuals. The cadets showed great dedication and compassion by actively contributing to and coordinating the collection process. This activity strengthened the values of empathy, social responsibility, and service to humanity among the cadets.
