NCC Enrolment & Selection

The NCC enrolment and selection process for the 2025 batch was successfully conducted on September 20th, 2025, at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, commencing at 8:30 AM. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of students who displayed keen interest and strong motivation to join the prestigious National Cadet Corps.

The selection process was systematically organized and included a physical fitness test followed by a written examination, ensuring a fair and merit-based evaluation of all applicants. The physical test assessed the candidates' endurance, agility, and overall fitness, while the written examination evaluated their basic knowledge, awareness, and aptitude for joining the NCC. The entire process was conducted in a disciplined and orderly manner, strictly adhering to NCC guidelines.

Students from various branches and academic backgrounds participated with great zeal, enthusiasm, and competitive spirit. The candidates demonstrated high levels of determination and sportsmanship throughout the selection process, reflecting their eagerness to embrace the values of discipline, leadership, and service to the nation.

After the completion of the registration and evaluation process, a total of 24 cadets were selected, comprising 14 boys and 10 girls. The selected cadets exhibited commendable physical fitness, mental preparedness and a positive attitude, making them suitable representatives of the NCC unit. Their selection marks the beginning of their journey towards holistic development through structured training, character building, and national service.

The successful conduct of the enrolment process highlighted the growing interest among students of IIIT Allahabad in joining the NCC and contributing actively to nation-building. The event laid a strong foundation for nurturing disciplined, responsible, and motivated cadets for the 2025 batch.
